Safety and authority boundaries

Understand where an offline fieldbook stops and real-world people, conditions, laws and services take over.

01

Movement and comfort

General delivery illustrations are not medical, rehabilitation, fitness or personalized technique advice. Stop when movement feels unsafe or painful and seek appropriate real-world guidance.

02

Weather and surface

The app has no live data and cannot assess heat, rain, wind, light, green condition, access paths or surrounding activity.

03

Equipment

Illustrations do not size, approve or certify bowls, footwear, mats, measures or other equipment for a person or event.

04

Urgent situations

Leave the app and contact the appropriate authorized person or New Zealand emergency service. Rink & Radius cannot call or transmit a report.

05

Children and safeguarding

There is no child account, messaging, upload, location or public profile. Parents, guardians and authorized club adults retain responsibility for supervision and consent.

06

Alcohol and wagering

The app contains no alcohol sale or ordering, age or intoxication function, betting, wagering, odds or gambling feature.

Who remains authoritative

People and current instructions.

Club staff, session leaders, coaches, event officials, current laws and conditions of play, posted venue instructions, qualified professionals and emergency services always take priority over an app screen.

Local by design

The useful work happens on the device.

Rink & Radius version 1.0.0 packages its lessons, illustrations, temporary instruments, source notes and privacy text inside the Android application. It has no Internet permission, account, cloud database, advertising, analytics, attribution or remote configuration. A lesson bookmark or reading preference may remain in app-private storage; an End Composer result, Head Mapper layout, Green Notes strip and Club Day selection are intended only for the running session. Clear Local Choices, Android Clear storage or uninstall removes app-held state.

Authority remains human

An illustration cannot inspect a real green.

The product cannot confirm a session, forecast, surface, access route, equipment, law, condition of play, score, selection, eligibility decision or participant readiness. Current club staff, adult session leaders, coaches, event officials, posted venue instructions, qualified professionals and emergency services take priority. The app supports a calmer conversation; it does not silently turn that conversation into an operational instruction, official record, medical assessment or emergency report.

Publication boundary

A package is not a public deployment.

This static site explains the app and hosts its app-specific policy after deployment. A ZIP stored on a computer is not yet a public privacy URL. The publisher must upload the package, verify the final HTTPS homepage and both privacy routes, confirm control of the published support contact, review current Play declarations against the exact AAB and retain appropriate rights evidence for supplied or generated imagery.
